Living as a trailing spouse

It all started when…

My husband called me one day and asked if I was still interested in living overseas. This had been a goal in my early 20’s but had recently taken a back seat to my work and raising my children. Next thing I knew we were talking about packing up a house and moving to South America, all in the next 3 weeks.

What started as a 5 month adventure extended into 3 years of traveling with my kids and husband as a traveling spouse. It’s a constant juggle between both the minutae of juggling school age kids and those struggles, with the big picture struggles of adjusting to living in a new culture, learning new languages.

It’s been an exciting opportunity and I’m so glad our family has shared this adventure. This blog shares some of my tips on how to make a life as a trailing spouse. I hope you love it.
